We hit the streets in London, on a mission to do as many touristy – cliche things as possible. lol. Not really, but here we are, succeeding regardless!

We met up with my amazing cousin Amy, who just happened to be the best tour guide in existence! We went to our first oyster bar, walked through Green Park. — Actually Park carried me through most of the park, because I hurt my ankle.  But it was beautiful. The streets of London were more stunning than I had imagined.

We hit up just about every museum you can fit into the little time we had and each one was so fascinating!

We walked through Madame Tussauds Wax museum, and hung out with all the stars! haha

Then caught the London eye at sunset. What an incredible experience that was!  I would do it again in a heart beat!

We of course had to ride the underground any place we went. We don’t have anything like that in our small western city in the US.

It’s exciting to travel in a way you never have before.

Hampton Court Palace was magnificent!  Unfortunately, we arrived just as they were closing, so we didn’t get to see inside. However, they let us walk through the stunning garden, which we had all to ourselves! 222233_10150586670690184_1769297_n 229259_10150586670605184_4773972_n 230718_10150586664085184_5150652_n 222762_10150586663970184_1250488_n 230126_10150586663630184_5754847_n

We couldn’t leave London without visiting Buckingham Palace!  Surreal being there in person after learning so much about the history that’s happened within those walls!
